How Does It Feel?

to know you make someone
Cry out
in the middle of the night
Holding her breasts as if
squeezing some wound
Keeping her bleeding broken heart
from spilling onto the
salty wet pillow

to know you make someone
Scream
in the hot still night
Clutching sweaty tangled sheets like
a thousand soured memories
Holding them to her
Even as she pushes them away

to know you make someone's soul
Bleed
thinking of slow sweet lovemaking
that could never have been hers
You are her one forbidden love
Her one uncaring love
her once devouring love

to know you make someone
Fall
after hours of agony
tears drying on her cheeks
Back into the tortured arms of sleep
The sweet safe arms of sleep
To dream of Once
when you loved her
The tormented memory
of your smile

What's the best thing about my site?

Goodnight

The pain in his eyes is
no match for
the slime of his fingers, or
The hot spongey mouth I have been
avoiding.

We both sit.
Waiting
For this to end, or
for the end to come.

Once more,
I open the car door.
